The MM-D-490-8 Aluminum Sacrificial Anode weighs 490 lb. Designed to provide reliable cathodic protection for offshore structures, marine pipelines, submerged steel, and other seawater applications requiring dependable corrosion control.
M&M Industries manufactures the MM-D-490-8 aluminum sacrificial anode in the USA using gravity casting methods. We cast the anode around a continuous 2″ Schedule 80 steel pipe core to provide structural strength and reliable attachment. The symmetrical 45° offset legs create a nominal 8″ stand off from the protected structure, improving current distribution while allowing secure welding or attachment to offshore jackets, subsea pipelines, and marine structures.
Our team can modify the steel core to meet specific project requirements. We add welded plates, channels, brackets, mounting holes, and other custom attachment features to support unique installation needs.
